Grab A Scab Fabric Stickers Review and Giveaway (CLOSED)

Do you have a favorite shirt that you bought your son or daughter that you've had to throw out shortly after purchasing because they either dropped their ketchup covered chicken nugget on it, or they tore out the knees playing freeze tag? Now there is an easy and fun solution....GRAB A SCAB!

Grab a Scab is a new company that offers all sorts of fun and quirky fabric peel and stick stickers that easily cover any small imperfections on clothing, and also offer a fun look to water bottles, backpacks, book covers, and much more. They are so adaptable and stick to most surfaces which really makes them fun! I love that the design line is expanding, and includes allergy Scabs, button Scabs, Classic Scabs and Custom Scabs, plus more.

My daughter had a great time sticking them to her jeans, as I don't let her wear them once they get holes in them (although, I once let her purchase the "pre-torn" style, which lasted about a month until they completely ripped out at the knee) and my son had fun sticking a Scab on his backpack so that he could tell it apart from the other similar backpacks in his class!

The process is easy, simply peel and stick. Since the Scabs are machine-washable, there is no worry about the scab coming off once placed. However, it is recommended waiting 24 hours before washing so that it can have time to set.

How do they measure up: The Scabs were so easy to use and I liked that using the Scabs did not require any sewing, as that is one area that I have absolutely no skill. I let my daughter use a Scab on her torn jeans. We were attempting to fix the hole in the knee area. I didn't let it set at all and it wasn't too long and the Scab was peeling up. Had I let it it set for the 24 hours, this might not have occurred. Therefore, I do recommend letting it set. I did like the new designs that are available, such as the heart, butterfly, groovy and peace...(plus lots more), as they are more adaptable to the styles that kids wear, and thus likely to not be rejected by the child who demands a certain "style". Kids can be so picky!  Overall, I was highly pleased with Grab A Scab products and feel they are on the road to a great product that will be quick to catch on! I would love to see more sizes, shapes and designs.

Grab a Scab products are currently only available in Canada, or can be ordered directly from the website.

Please let us know if the Scabs peel up-they shouldn't!! We have worked hard to test and retest. However, we have not been able to test all fabrics in all washers with all water types and all cleaning products. It is very important to Grab A Scab that you are satisfied with your Scabs so please let us know if you have any concerns! Because of constructive customer feedback we have been able to continually improve our product. We are listening to you!

It'd go on the knee of my husband's jeans. He'll flaunt his scab at work and at his college classes.

I would stick them to my kids lunchboxes.

I like the idea of using it on jeans. We get lots of small holes and these seem neat. I just told my kids about them and their interest is piqued!
