Ten Thousand Villages- Little Rock, Arkansas

I love to shop, and even when the finances are tight, I still love to window shop!  Simply looking with no intention of buying (although sometimes I go against my own intentions). It's not something many people like to do, and in fact, most people don't shop if they know that they can't buy something. For me though, it's not about purchasing what I admire most, but more about the admiring itself. I just find it fascinating the imagination designers and craftsmen possess and I love to see their vision realized on a store shelf. Take for instance, this adorable store my friend spotted while we were riding the trolley through downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, called Ten Thousand Villages.

From the distance, we could see this display in the window....

and she says to me "That store is so you"--and later, as we walked back to our vehicle from the River Market where we spent the majority of our day, we purposely went into this store. She was right. I absolutely loved everything about it, and immediately fell in love with this beautiful woven tree art right inside the entrance.
